I worked on a cruise ship in Brazil several times doing Bahia in there summer months. What a beautiful country with all its endless beaches and those places to explore, like the rustic small fishing village of Morro do Sao Paulo. I would go back there for a vacation, it is simply amazing. Porto Seguro for its reefs and small stands making powerful fruit cocktails, lots of seafood restaurants. I even got to do a buggy ride on the huge dunes in Natal, what an exhilarating experience with all those vistas around on the high dunes. Or the big cities like Salvador with the old town of Pelegrino, amazing and even more so when the Carnival is on, Porto Seguro also has the Carnival but a smaller version. The huge markets where you can get these amazing finds from simple sarongs and tie dye to all those simply Brazilian goodies. The island of Fernando do Noronha great for scuba diving and its wonderful natural beauty.

One of the things about cruise jobs and going to these places is meeting all these amazing people. The Brazilians are so energetic and full of life, with there wonderful samba music and Carnival. The "Axe" (music from Bahia) music pulses in all the bars and restaurants, livens up everything, so Brazilian.

What more could you want from life than to do a cruise job and get to travel, experience the different cultures and it can change your life now and in the future. If you are adventurous or interested in traveling and people this is the life for you.
